CONSUMER BEHAVIOR

Consumer behavior is the study of individuals, groups, or organizations and the processes they use to select, secure, use, and dispose of products, services, experiences, or ideas to satisfy needs and the impacts that these processes have on the consumer and society. The text Consumer Behavior helps firms and organizations to improve their marketing strategies. The objective of first chapter is to identify the taxonomy of readership categories that reflect the complexity of health care consumers’ interactions. Second chapter focuses on the role of the consumer culture in Dee’s identity construction in everyday use. The analysis of consumer behavior in regard to the beef meat in Kosovo has been proposed in third chapter. The purpose of fourth chapter is to investigate how the framing presentation of price promotion influences consumers’ anticipated regret of promotions and their impulsive purchase. A study on consumer behavior of commercial health and fitness club has been presented in fifth chapter. In sixth chapter, we focus on the coordination problem that arises from simultaneous price and quality setting on a market with regulated competition. Seventh chapter examines salt-related knowledge, attitude and self-reported behaviors amongst adult Lebanese consumers. A welfare analysis on quantity competition and price competition has been presented in eighth chapter with a duopoly in a consumer-friendly firm. In ninth chapter, we deal with corporate social responsibility in supply chains. Tenth chapter analyzes relative performance of the dual-channel’s members and the system, and characterizes the key results. Eleventh chapter focuses on multiple quality fresh products and considers consumer utility to analyze the retailer’s optimal ordering and pricing strategies.
