All the recipients of the Royal Institute of British Architects awards, worldwide in 2006 are described, evaluated and illustrated in this official guide. Included are the six buildings shortlisted for the Stirling Prize, the UK's most prestigious architectural award, and, for the first time in 2006, the four buildings shortlisted for the new Lubetkin Prize, awarded to the most outstanding bulding outside the European Union by an RIBA member.
