This book aims to contribute to bringing Brazil and Africa closer together. The two regions are united not only by their past but also by the challenges of the present and the enormous prospects for the future. With this purpose, the San Tiago Dantas Institute for Law and Economics brought leaders from universities, diplomacy, and business with diverse profiles and expertise. We organized this book to discuss how close Brazil is to Africa and how much closer it can become through diplomatic, economic, and cultural relations. Among the topics covered are foreign policy, energy transition, trade, regional integration, bilateral relations, gastronomy, insurance, reinsurance, pensions, financial market, historical and cultural affinities, industrialization, parliamentary debates, agriculture, defense, and others.
