ENGLISH YOU NEED FOR BUSINESS, THE - STUDENT'S BOOK (WITH AUDIO CD)

The English You Need for Business introduces vocabulary for talking about daily processes for business inside and outside the office. It is suitable both for self-study or for using in the classroom. The 46 full-color double-page lessons are organized in eight larger sections based on particular business aspects. These are: (1) Meetings and Presentations; (2) Trade Shows; (3) Dealing with Customers and Suppliers; (4) Communication for Business Travelers; (5) Meeting Business Contacts; (6) A Business Trip; (7) Air Travel for Business; and (8) Accommodations. Each lesson follows a picture process format in which language is presented through a series of illustrations that help students understand the meaning. Also featured in the lessons area list of key vocabulary and a special section that explains some of the vocabulary more fully. Example conversations for each chapter are included at the back of the book. The CD included with the book contains recordings of the captions and speechbubbles that accompany the pictures in each lesson, as well as readings of the example conversations.
