ENVIRONMENTS

The theme "Environments: Technoscience and its relations with sustainability, ethics, aesthetics, health and the future of the human" presents a wide range of issues particularly relevant in the current scientific, social and political context in Brazil and abroad. These are pertinent in order to promote fruitful reflections in the thematics contemplated, which can help in the so-called revitalization of key concepts such as public health, environmental management, social vulnerability, sustainable cities, green materials and processes, democracy, security, bioethics , aesthetics and related topics. The book is marked by the sustainability concept in its essence, above all by the design of its structure, which aims at promoting the production of historicized socio-scientific knowledge, based on the close and long RD&I relations between Brazil and Germany, especially fostered by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation.
