Gered Mankowitz is among the most important, prolific and hard-working photographers of the last century. Mankowitz never stopped growing as an artist, taking promotional shots of movie stars such as Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton, creating prize-winning advertising imagery for clients from Heineken to British Rail, shooting emerging artists, and publishing numerous books of his work.
