    Sinopse

Human Rights in an Interdisciplinary Perspective of the Global South is the result of thematic convergences between professors and students of the Postgraduate Programs of three Postgraduate Programs. Reflecting and writing based on these metacategories brings to light the choice of theoretical and methodological paths, as well as the objective of deepening cooperation between researchers from research and teaching institutions from diverse regions of Brazil: South, Southeast and Central-West as participants.
In this context, one of the converging points to be highlighted is the use of interdisciplinarity, with a view to promoting the creation of research networks. Interdisciplinarity aims to promote the integration of the most varied social actors, fields of knowledge, institutions and multiplicity of methodologies, methodological procedures, methodological techniques and many others that are necessary in the complex web of the scientific construct of the 21st century. An educational and investigative practice that seeks to make the areas of knowledge complement each other so that reflections and results serve as support for learning from each other, creating and redefining national and international science.
The Global South locus refers to a group of countries that, despite being located in different regions of the planet, share common characteristics, such as the historical experience of colonization/colonialism and colonialities, socioeconomic inequalities, and a relatively fragile position in the social aspect of the global system. It is also worth noting that the "Global South" is not only a geographical issue, but also a cultural, political, economic and social issue that seeks to recognize the protagonism and pluriversality of developing or impoverished countries in the international context.
