They achieved their goal of maintaining the 'look and flavor' of the first two editions. The text is comprehensive yet practical and readable. It has been completely updated and includes new chapters and references...The illustrations are fabulous. Drs. Paller and Mancini could not have done a better job with this textbook. It is absolutely worth more than the listed price. I am currently recommending it to colleagues interested in pediatric skin disease at all levels of training because the authors have so beautifully represented the field of pediatric dermatology with this outstanding text.
