In 1960 Alberto Díaz Gutiérrez, better known as Alberto Korda took a photograph of revolutionary Che Guevara. This now iconic image is considered the most reproduced photograph in history, gracing millions of t-shirts and Cuban pesos alike. Korda’s historic career is often linked with revolution and rebellion - particularly in his native Cuba, where he served as Castro’s personal photographer. But Korda’s extraordinary talent drew him to other subjects as well, including fashion models, Cuban society, and, towards the end of his life, the world beneath the sea.
