These Level B books assist children in looking at print and matching the words that they read with the words on the page. These highly predictable books support children’s reading work by repeating the pattern of the first page until the end, which often has a slight pattern change. The Level B books in this library have two and sometimes three lines of text per page, requiring the student to make a return sweep to the beginning of the next line.
