PHOTOS FROM THE 1970S

The photographic archives of Agence France-Presse are among the most valuable visual records of our contemporary history. This book, published by Éditions Cercle d Art, brings together a selection of photographs that defined the 1970s, from the fall of Saigon to the death of General Franco, from the 1973 oil crisis to the 1972 Munich Olympics. Far more than an archival book, Photos from the 1970s builds a genuine photographic narrative in which each image illuminates its era through both documentary value and aesthetic power.
