REFLEKTOR 2

Reflektor 2 presents a broad cross-section of the best student work done in 2009 in the design-related disciplines of photography, graphic design, object design and interior design as well as camera, thus revealing the high standards of teaching and research at Fachhochschule Dortmund. Light is shed on the best student projects to reveal their aims and content. Texts that deal with design, assignments related to it and its aims as well as the advance of interdisciplinary approaches within the individual disciplines have been chosen to accompany them. A chapter entitled "Looking Back" goes into the intermural activities at Fachhochschule Dortmund; events, exhibitions and symposiums. Essays by designers and art historians provide additional insights into the force field of design theory and practice.
