STANISLAVSKI: AN INTRODUCTION

The aim of this book is to show the slow growth of Stanislavski's system, from its roots in the tradition of Russian realism, and to chart the various phases it went trhough until the final emergence of the 'Method of Physical Action' in the years before his death.
