So begins the Bhagavad Gita... The Bhagavad Gita is the foundational text of the Hindu faith and one of the most widely read religious works in the world. Mahatma Gandhi famously described it as his spiritual dictionary. It holds a universal appeal which sweeps away boundaries of all types, be they spiritual or secular, temporal or spatial.
