BUSGET - LEARNING BY DOING

Topics examined in Budget include on the first part an overview of the strategic, operating, and financial planning. Second part starts budgeting considering the macroeconomics assumptions, the industry environment, the company products, distribution, costs, administrative and commercial expenses, capital expenditures, and goods financing. Third part presents a forecasted cash flow, income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement.
Fourth part brings some tips for the exercise with Excel. Fifth and final part shows different economic scenarios, with some variations of the assumptions. This is a new book for students, and for business managers. The spreadsheet tool with Excel and its functions, will be used allowing the connection of the assumptions, linking cells and spreadsheets, using only one file with 26 worksheets.
